You can pay your membership fee online using PayPal (accepts card) or in person with cash. There is also a membership grant for experienced trip leaders!
You must also renew your membership every calendar year on Rubric. Details available here. A reminder notice will appear until you do 🙂
You can choose a 6 month or 1 year membership. There is a discount if you are a UNSW Student, Staff or Alumni.

Your membership period begins when you pay. It will end exactly after one year/six months has passed. Eg. If you join in April with a one year membership, it will expire April next year.
N.B. We do not offer refunds under any circumstances.
Grants for subsidising membership are available for experienced trip leaders and actively contributing executive.

Paying by cash
You need to meet with an exec member to pay by cash. The most convenient places/events to do this are:
- O-Week Stall: The club runs a stall during every O-Week. Come and visit us to find out everything you want to know, join the club and meet some of the current members.
- Welcome BBQ: Every term we have an Intro BBQ with free food and very cheap drinks to welcome everyone new and old. Check our facebook page for the event details.
- The Gear Cupboard
- The Ledge, Thursday Nights from 6pm: Every Thursday night, club members climb for $8 at The Ledge climbing gym at Sydney Uni (some people join only for this). This is the best way to meet people as well! Just ask the people at the desk to point out an exec member to sign you up - there is always one there.

NB. You will need your club membership card to prove your membership for the discounts and cheap climbing. You can get your club card from an exec member at the same places listed above in 'Paying by cash'. Just make sure to bring some proof of your membership!
