Sudarshan (he/him) - President + Arc Delegate
Function in the Club: I’m the president, I preside over things. I make sure things run smoothly, and also work with the exec team to choose the direction that the club should move in. I do a little bit of everything.
About me: There's something I have to tell you… Unlike everyone else below, I love the outdoors!?!?! I'm also a final year electrical engineering student who loves collecting random information while procrastinating study.
Outdoor activities: Primarily bushwalking and canyoning (which I discovered and learnt entirely through the club!). I also love dabbling in a bit of Caving and Mountain Biking - I will try everything, at least once.
What do you get up to when you’re not outdoors? Sleeping or chasing trains - I'm on a quest to visit every train station in Sydney. 139 down, 46 to go - I've probably visited 5 more by the time you're reading this 😀

My role is manage the club's finances to support our members to get out and enjoy the outdoors.
About me: I'm a UNSW Engineering alumni. I'm passionate about resource sustainability and spend most of my time at work on renewable energy projects.
Outdoor activities: Hiking, camping, running, skiing, I've recently added canyoning, caving and climbing to the roster and keen to explore more!

About me: UNSW Engineering Alum now working and enjoying spending my weekends outdoors rather than studying.

Function in the Club: I make sure people learn the skills they need to enjoy the outdoors safely while also ensuring we don’t damage nature. I also get us involved with things like bush regen and crag care.
About me: People have referred to me as “tall and handsome”, “very well mannered” and “a very strong young man” - if by people you mean my grandma. I’m planning on getting my canyon guide quals this year and just generally be a bum with the term I’ve taken off of uni. I also live in Blackheath which is very very convenient
Outdoor activities: I canyon, cave, climb and hike 🤮 when required. I do all the cool stuff especially if it’s a bad idea and I’m miserable doing it
What do you get up to when you’re not outdoors? You can usually find me in an IGA bin or cooking something with the bounty from an evening scavenging an IGA bin. I also read a fair bit...

Function in the Club: I have all the gear & no idea (just kidding (ish)), I'm responsible for making sure the club has plenty of gear and it's all in working order so the club can keep running trips & we can all stay outdoors.
About me: I'm a 2nd year Elec Eng student but this is my 2nd degree & I doubt I'll stop any time soon 🙂 I spend my days questioning my life choices, including my study choices and taste in cars, which I promptly solve by disappearing to the mountains every weekend.
Outdoor activities: Anything that can eat up an entire weekend or more; skiing, canyoning, caving, sometimes climbing or hiking with good company.
What do you get up to when you’re not outdoors? I'm usually dissociating under my car/s wondering why I continue to buy problems just to fix them, otherwise I'll be knitting another jumper that won't be finished until I'm 90.

About me: 3rd year Law and Computer Science student. I believe in 8 hours of sleep per night and 1 hour of study per day. What do I do with the other 15 hours? - I have no idea. Currently trying to figure out how sand got in my head tube, why there are so many engineers in UNSWOC and the formatting for this very page!

Function in the Club: I coordinate trips, which includes planning trips as well as working with trip leaders and execs to make sure that trips happen.
About me: I am a first year construction management student, coffee and beer enjoyer, and professional doomscroller.
Outdoor activities: I mostly climb sport and boulder, but I'm a boulder bro at heart. I very occasionally hike and ski as well.
What do you get up to when you’re not outdoors? I used to make furniture (when I used to have a workshop) and ride my motorcycle, before I sold it :(. Now I spend my time doing uni work, trying to get back into the gym and going on trips.

About me: I'm a Mining engineering student who loves to explore and go on epic adventures at every opportunity whether that be canyoning or my daily hill sprints for the train instead of leaving 5 minutes earlier
Outdoor activities: Canyoning, Caving, Climbing, Cross country Skiing and Mountaineering. Pretty much if it's expensive as heck, requires 3 hours of driving and you tell me how much fun it is, I'll be there.
What do you get up to when you’re not outdoors? In-between trying to financially recover from my last trip and fighting for my life in math lectures and my much beloved lizard time in the sun, well that's pretty much the rest of my life lets be real, but I do enjoy volunteering and training with the SES when life allows.

About me: I am doing a science and arts double, and am majoring in physics, maths, philosophy, and history… "the inner machinations of my mind are an enigma" -Patrick Starfish. I love reading and gallivanting round the wide world. Jazz is gooood and I play an instrument here and there. My foible is I will talk about books till I am silenced.
Outdoor activities: Rambling bout the place, hike or what have you. Been wanting to get into more stuff and recently went caving which was great!
What do you get up to when you’re not outdoors? I adore going to concerts and plays and finding cafe book stores where I drink too much coffee and spend more money than one should.

About me: My name is Harry, I am a 4th year Mech-Eng Student. I enjoy a good cup of morning brown, big fan of cycling around on a nice sunny day. Never could say no to a beer and I love custard. I have a car that I regularly spend my life savings fixing. It still doesn't work. I also have a boat that I sink even more money that I don't have into. It's got a hole in it now. Love doing DIY projects and keen on adventure. Chronic procrastinator of uni work but alas aren't we all
Outdoor activities: I like photosynthesizing, photosynthesizing with a beer, photosynthesizing with multiple beers. I also am an avid caver, climber, hiker and cycler. How good are deep, dark, muddy holes in the ground? so good. You'll catch me doing almost any outdoor activity tho!

About me: I'm in my fourth year of mechanical engineering, I love working on and going on adventures in my old Volvo shit boxes, and I love hiking! Recently I've been spending a lot of my time working on the new UNSW SunSwift racing sports car student project.
Outdoor activities: I'm a big hiker, but you'll find me doing right about anything, I have a bad habit of saying yes to every fun idea.
