[FULL] SUNDAY BL – BELL SUPERCRAG Beginner/Intermediate Sport Climbing

Howdy Comrades, Emily and myself (Ryan) will be heading to Bell Supercrag on Sunday 17th of March for some beginner/intermediate friendly sport climbing! (including top roping) Bell has many routes of different styles and grades, and ample shade throughout the day. This is a great opportunity to learn more about sport climbing techniques at a beautiful crag in the blue mountains.

You need to be approved for the main Boree Log event to attend these trips. Please sign up for only ONE trip per day. If you get rejected you can then sign up for another trip, this just makes it easier for volunteer trip leaders. Please be aware that as the weather is unpredictable, trip leaders may need to alter trips accordingly

Car pooling will be organised later.

What YOU need to bring:

• Climbing shoes*
• Chalk
• Food/snacks for the day
• At least 2L water
• Sunscreen
• Helmet*
• Harness*
• Belay device such as an ATC*
• Safety sling and locking carabiner*
• Bag to carry everything
• Appropriate clothing for the weather

Items with (*) can be borrowed at Boree Log.

Please note that the walk in for Bell is long and (mildly) treacherous so please wear clothing appropriate for a hike; including enclosed shoes.
