[FULL] SUNDAY BL – UPPER SHIPLEY Sport Climbing

Hey Everyone!

Amelia and I (Gabriel) will lead be leading a sport climbing trip on Sunday to Upper Shipley with our super strong TLIT Hamza. This area is very beginner friendly so anyone is welcome. We will set up some top ropes and there will also be opportunities to learn to lead/clean routes if anyone is interested.

Gear:

• Harness
• Helmet
• Climbing shoes
• ATC + Carabiner

If you have your own gear, please bring it!

What to bring:

• Sunscreen
• 2L water (minimum!)
• Food for the day
• Sporty clothes
• Jacket (just in case you get cold)
• Day backpack to fit all your stuff

You need to be approved for the main Boree Log event to attend these trips. Please sign up for only ONE trip per day. If you get rejected you can then sign up for another trip, this just makes it easier for volunteer trip leaders. Please be aware that as the weather is unpredictable, trip leaders may need to alter trips accordingly
