Here we have Manky Cam!!
The Manky Cam is an annual rock climbing battle between UNSWOC, SURMC and UTSOAC (The three major university climbing clubs). It’s a fun night full of different challenges – climbing blindfolded, climbing only using one hand, etc. Each climb/challenge has a set number of points allocated. The top 6 climbs for each club member are added up and the club with the largest total wins! There is no ability level required to attend the event, HOWEVER, we do have to cap our numbers to 60, which will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
If you sign up and can no longer make the event, make sure you cancel your booking so someone else can take part.
The specific rules will be given at the start of the night so make sure you’re there on time! 5 PM!
There will also be a BBQ courtesy of the LEDGE 🙂
The usual entry fee $5 will apply and we will have some harnesses available to borrow. Any and all abilities are welcome!
Please wear a club shirt if you have one. If not any dark navy coloured shirt so that we match would be good!
