We will be catching a train to Blackheath after uni on Thursday andย hiking to Perry’s lookdown campsite where we will stay the night. From there we will embark on a walk down into the bluegum forest alongside the river, before leaving the valley up through Pierces Pass, where we will have lunch. After lunch we will walk along roads up to the Cathedral of Ferns Campsite. ETA to Boree log is 7pm Friday night.
Note, this is an advanced trip as it covers more than of walking on steep terrain, and the walking Thursday will be during the night.
You must bring sufficient hiking and safety gear!
Spots are limited as large groups are slow and cumbersome and we wish to move quickly and efficiently.
