Hi guys,
We’ll be heading up to Newnes Plateau this weekend to do a few easy and (mostly) dry beginner canyons. Trips will be running both days so you can come for a day trip or camp overnight, although you will need to organise your own transportation. You don’t need to have abseiling or canyoning experience but you will need to ensure you have the follow:
- daypack, drybag
- helmet, harness, abseil device, few carabiners, safety sling, small prussik
- rain jacket, thermals, emergency blanket, beanie, whistle, headlight torch, spare batteries
- food and water
- camping equipment (tent, sleeping bag and mat, mess kit, etc)
Numbers will be capped around 8 people. Any questions, just text me (Katie) on 0447541639.
