Hi, i’m organising a camping weekend on an island off the coast north of Newcastle.ย There’s native frogs that live on the island, migrating mutton birds, and penguins that come in at sunset.ย Its up to you what you want to do, go snorkelling, exploring or sit on a beach with a book.
We’ll drive up friday evening to Nelson bay and take the boat early the next morning.ย Because i’ve organised a group booking it keeps the costs down, $60 including the boat and camping permits. (friday evening is separate, but will probably be camping in a caravan park at nelson bay).ย If we’re short on cars i’ll have to give priority to people who can drive.
