hello hello,
rory and I (róisín) will be running a 14km hike (432m elevation) this saturday at the royal national park, starting from heathcote station. we will be meeting at the station at 8:45am. unfortunately for all you car-less people the trains will be down so unless you wanna get 3 buses you will need to scab a lift.
this hike combines sections of the engadine trail, uloola track and karloo track. going through both karloo pool and kangaroo creek pools as well as by uloola falls. including swimming and plenty of dilly dallying looking at plants, birds and lizards i recon it take us 7 hours
due to the length and elevation of this walk a little bit of prior hiking experience is required
for those keen to check out the map:
if the weather has been too rainy to hike we will do a slip and slide at sydney park instead 🙂 also also if you could create or join a cult what cult would it be?
what you will need to bring;
-at least 2l of water
-sturdy enclosed shoes
-swimmers and towel (if you intend on swimming)
-lunch
-snacks
-hat
in your comment please let me know
-previous hiking experience
-current fitness level
-swimming ability
-the answer to the hidden question
-if you will be needing a lift,
-if you are willing to drive others, and what area your leaving from
please do not pull up unless you have received confirmation you have been accepted to the trip.
