Hellooooo!
Antoine, Seamus, and I (Sudarshan) are running a nice little day hike along a stretch of the Great North Walk. Should be quite pretty, with some walking along the river and valley (pictured above!). This is a great chance for those wanting to get right into the bush without all the associated travel time.
The walk is 15km so expect to take about 5 hours, map here.
Not much experience necessary, all are welcome! The track is well marked and the pace won’t be too demanding. This should be quite a nice hike with public transport at both ends.

What to bring:
- Sturdy shoes!
- Small-medium sized backpack to hold your belongings
- About 2L of water **super important to have enough water!!**
- This summer is shaping up to be very hot, you will be turned back without adequate water
- Lunch and snacks for the day
- A hat
- Any personal medication you may need
When and Where:
- Saturday 3rd October (end of week 3)
- Meet at Hornsby Station at 10:30am.
- We will be finished around 4pm at Epping Station.
- Both stations have very frequent trains to the city
