Just a cute little overnight hike in the Brisbane national park. Will include some lovely views over the Hawkesbury River, maybe a waterfall and some cave camping.
We will be doing the majority of the hike on the Saturday with a reasonably early start but will mean that we should be back in Sydney early on Sunday.
Wondabyne is a train only station so we will be public transporting either from Berowra station or Central.
And as we will be public transporting there will be no place to leave gear so please follow the packing list strictly.
sleeping mat and sleeping bag (comfortable to at least 0 degrees)
warm clothes
rain jacket
head torch
food for 2 lunches and a dinner
stove and gas for cooking these meals
at least 2 liters of water (there is one fill up place, from a creek that will need to be treated as well as a couple of ephemeral streams) (it might be good to bring an extra liter bottle)
first aid kit
toothbrush
sunscreen/hat/sunnies
if you are unsure as to if you should bring something just message one of us.
Cheers
Greta, Stephen and Mira
