Wow! It’s that time of year again, kids! Time to un$%&* the cluster%&*# and make your life and my lifeย easier (and maybe uncover some long lost possessions along the way).
I’ve been told by the Boss that the club will provide beer and pizza to those who help on. Free dinner AND get you get to handle some serious hardware…who could say no?
THE PLAN:
- Gear night will proceed as usual, I’ll be running it from 6-7PM
- While at the gear cupboard, we’ll be removing stuff, replacing stuff (hopefully in a more orderly fashion), cutting rope and doing a stocktake on a couple of types of gearย (prusiks and boltplates sacrificed for a greater good). If you’re luck we might even boil some cams and relube (mmmm cams)
- I’ll bring my car down and we’ll move stuff and people over to the tramshed and continue the mayhem
- Pizza and beer will be consumed throughout the night
- Post gear visit to the localย tavern
