Next long weekend come to the awe inspiring Warrumbungles to climb long trad classics such as Flight of the Phoenix.
It is a few hours walk in to Bluff Mountain where we’re headed and we’ll be camping at Balor Hut campground which is free. So you’ll need camping gear and a pack to carry it all. I’ll find out if there’s a water supply.
You’ll need to be able to lead 14+ trad and be confident multi-pitching as there are not many single pitch routes. Should be great fun providing the weather is not too cold!
