Navigation 101 – Beginners Navigation Workshop

I’m going to be running a beginners navigation workshop to go over some of the fundamental skills of navigation. This will be suitable for people who have ZERO previous experience or people who might just want some ideas about how to improve their navigation. While navigation isn’t really a skill that you can master in a classroom, we will try to cover all the basics you need to start practicing this skill yourself.

We will try to talk about the following topics:

• Map reading basics
• Grid vs magnetic north
• Compasses and Bearings
• Route choice
• Relocation

Meet at the gear cupboard at 7pm and we will find a room from there
