Northern Beaches -> The Entrance overtwonights camping trip

Summer is here!! and so is your opportunity to soak up some shortwave radiation from that shiny hydrogen fusion reactor in the sky 🙂

Here is the trip plan:

First day: we are gonna start around late morning, walk from something like Avalon beach (you get L90 bus straight there from city) to Palm beach, take the ferry to west head, hike maybe 2km ish to top of a hill, find some space and camp out.

Second day: we’re gonna ferry through broken bay, land around wagstaffe, hike around then snorkel at killcare beach (there’s a snorkel spot if I recall correctly) and camp somewhere there for the night

On the third day, we’ll get to The Entrance, look around, (there’s a snorkel spot but I can’t remember where exactly) maybe hire some kayaks, eventually coming back to city by train before complete darkness

NOTES

Can someone bring a lantern? Let me know because we can’t have a camp fire unfortunately

Since this is a beach trip, the DATE MAY CHANGE +- 1-2 DAYS IF WE HAVE BAD WEATHER

Bring sun protection, aeroguard and and snorkel gear but think twice about fins(too heavy)

The entire route is close to public transport so you can bail/join anytime

we will be visiting a supermarket each day. Don’t worry about starvation but do pack calorie dense snacks
