You need to be approved for the main Boree Log event to attend these trips. Please sign up for only ONE trip per day. If you get rejected you can then sign up for another trip, this just makes it easier for volunteer trip leaders. Please be aware that as the weather is unpredictable, trip leaders may need to alter trips accordingly
Hey gumbies!
Sonia, Layla (Our lovely trip leader in training) and I (Raff) are running a trip to Bardens lookout (specifically Historic Wells) on the Saturday of Boree. This trip is open to complete beginners, people looking to develop their skills and people just looking for a bit of a social climb.
The minimum requirement to come on this trip is basic physical fitness (even just getting in and out of the crag requires a bit of a scramble) and a whole lot of stoke! To show that you at least read some of this description please tell me what your smallest fear is and why.
We will be aiming for a relatively early return back to the campsite at around 4pm, so we will also be aiming for an early start so we can get as much climbing in as possible!
Gear to Bring:
- Harness *
- Helmet *
- Climbing Shoes *
- ATC *
- Locking Carabiner *
- Enclosed shoes for the approach
- A backpack for your stuff and whatever gear we make you carry
- Lunch and snacks
- Minimum 2L water
- Any medications you need
- Any extra gear you want
- Hat & Sunnies
- Sunscreen
Items with a * can be borrowed from the club, gear will be sorted on Saturday morning.
