[FULL] SATURDAY BL – Yileen Canyon [Beginner Canyon]

You need to be approved for the main Boree Log event to attend these trips. Please sign up for only ONE trip per day. If you get rejected you can then sign up for another trip, this just makes it easier for volunteer trip leaders. Please be aware that as the weather is unpredictable, trip leaders may need to alter trips accordingly.

Canyoning is VERY serious and ANY attempts to do NON-SERIOUS canyoning will be met with severe repercussions!

Now you BETTER listen up cos well idk but SERIOUS

All the super SERIOUS technical gear you will need, we will be bring up to boree, so you’re off the hook just this once! BUT you’re not off the hoook for bringing your own gear!

You will need

• Backpack that can fit ALL your gear and that can get wet (30L+)
• Emergency blanket – (can buy from Gear Cupboard for $5 or from chemists, shops, etc)
• Enclosed shoes with good grip, suitable for water and bushwalking
• Thick socks (not cotton)
• Thermals and raincoat
• No excitement
• Swimmers for under wetsuit
• NO COTTON! (this includes socks, shirts, pants, etc)
• 2L of water
• No funny business
• Lunch
• Snacks to share with meeeeeeeeee 😋 (will leave you behind if you don’t)
• Medication (asthma puffer, Epipen etc)
• Headtorch + spare batteries
• Seriousness
• Dry clothes and a towel for the drive back home (wet bums ain’t cool)
