The annual UNSWOC tradition of awards night is upon us. Awards night is a pub affair in which we gather in our finest formal wear to present awards for those of us who have excelled within their weirdly specific outdoor niche, or as human beings / contributors of the club. Winners will also be announced for the photo competition, which is a great opportunity to get your outdoor pics into the mix, whether they are instagram or funniest home video worthy. There will also be a trivia, which is partially outdoor themed but will also relate to club members, in addition to hearing out some beanie grant applications for your fellow club members. Beanie Grant is a club initiative which provides financial support to club members planning big outdoor undertakings, adventures or initiatives of their own. On the night, we will hear out beanie grant applications and vote on the best proposal.
The spark notes for the attention deficit among us:
  • formal attire 💃
  • free pizza 🍕 including provisions for dietaries
  • trivia
  • awards for photo competition 🏆
  • club member awards across a range of categories 🏆
  • prizes **
  • beanie grant applications and voting
**prizes to be announced but they will be juicy. Some of our sponsors include Macpac, Mountain Designs/Equipment and Climbing Anchors**

There are 50 places available – it is a first in best dressed policy so do sign up for this event ASAP! IN THE COMMENTS: PLEASE INCLUDE ANY DIETARIES OR YOU WILL NOT BE PROVIDED FOR. Signups for this event will close on the 24th of November at 9pm. If you miss the deadline please do not message me for last minute exceptions.
