[FULL] SUNDAY BL – MEDLOW BATH Sport Climbing

Hey everyone,

Join Caity D, Sophia and I on a beginner friendly sport climbing trip to Medlow Bath on our way back to Sydney on Sunday. You can check out the crag page here.

There are climbs to suit a range of abilities here, and we will happily set up top ropes for anyone new to the sport and wanting to try it out. Anyone wanting to learn some more specific skills are also more than welcome to join and we will teach :))

What you need to bring:

• 2L water
• Food/snacks for the day
• Sunscreen/hat
• Warm clothes!
• Chalk (optional)
• Bag to fit everything, including some of the shared gear we will bring

Bring the following items if you have them, if not we can provide…

• Harness
• Helmet
• Belay device (eg ATC)
• Locking carabiner
• Climbing shoes

You need to be approved for the main Boree Log event to attend these trips. Please sign up for only ONE trip per day. If you get rejected you can then sign up for another trip, this just makes it easier for volunteer trip leaders. Please be aware that as the weather is unpredictable, trip leaders may need to alter trips accordingly.

In your comment below, if you have a car please tell us where you will be driving back to on Sunday arvo/evening (we need to make sure all our participants can get home), also your climbing experience, and what your 5-year-old-self wanted to be when you grew up (just so we know you’ve read all this information).
