Update: Trip has been postponed by a week due to wet weather
Hey everyone!
Lucas, Alfie and Linna will be running an INTERMEDIATE multi-pitch climbing trip next Saturday, 4th of November tentatively scheduled for Saturday, 11th of November at Reservoir Dogs. We will focus on multipitch skills in a relatively safe environment.
IMPORTANT NOTE
As an intermediate trip, we expect that you are familiar with the following skills:
- Lead climbing and lead belaying
- Basic abseiling skills
- Indoor/outdoor sport climbing comfortably around grade 18-20
Just as a side note, these are only to ensure the safe running of this trip. If you need a refresher or want to learn any of these skills, don’t hesitate to contact us, and we can show you at The Ledge on Thursday.
WHAT TO BRING
- Climbing harness*
- Climbing helmet*
- Belay device + two locking carabiners*
- Safety sling + locking carabiner*
- Prusik
- Climbing shoes* (COMFORTABLE – i.e. not your aggressive indoor bouldering shoes, you’ll be standing in them all day)
- 2L of water
