[FULL] Beginner Abseiling Training – Clovelly

If you didn’t get a spot, don’t worry, we have heaps of events coming up!

Heya,

Mali and I will be leading a trip to Clovelly to teach you guys how to abseil!

Expect to learn basic abseiling technique, cliff safety, third-hands (if we have time).

Things to pack:

• Water
• Sunscreen, hat
• Snacks
• Jacket (it gets windy by the beach)
• Comfortable enclosed shoes
• Helmet, harness, descending device, safety sling, 2x locking carabiners (these can be borrowed from the Gear Cupboard on Thursday from 5:30pm or we can pick them up for you)

Clovelly is a bus trip away from UNSW, we’ll be meeting around 5pm and expect to be done by sunset. Bring your smiles and maybe a camera for those nice sunset pics!
