SUNDAY BL – A loop with mt banks HIKING

Heyo!

Margot and I are leading a trip to mount banks and surrounds. We’ll be hiking to the edge of the valley for the pretty views and waltz up mt banks on the way back. It’s 12km and the hilly parts seem to be localised around mt banks and are smaller peak. Should be a nice chill sunday, if we have time we could see if we wanna go for an icy swim before or after. Gear list:

• Sturdy, comfortable shoes or hiking boots
• Backpack to hold your stuff
• Appropriate hiking clothes
• Hat
• Rain jacket
• Warm clothes
• Lunch and snacks
• 2 L of water – need to have this ready to go at the campground for when we leave Saturday morning (remember there is no drinking water at the campground)
• Headtorch
• Any personal medication you might normally carry with you

Note: You need to be approved for the main Boree Log event to attend these trips. Please sign up for only ONE trip per day. If you get rejected you can then sign up for another trip, this just makes it easier for volunteer trip leaders. Please be aware that as the weather is unpredictable, trip leaders may need to alter trips accordingly
