Come join me (Ava) on a learn to abseil trip at Clovelly this weekend!
Abseiling is an essential skill for outdoors activities such as canyoning, climbing and caving. This workshop will be catered towards beginners!
We will be playing around with a few different beginner abseiling devices and giving them a go!
This workshop will start at 2pm sharp at Clovelly Cliffs on Saturday.
Equipment:
– Bring any of your personal equipment
– ATC/figure 8, harness, helmet, rope and safety will provided
– It’s best to wear sneakers and comfy clothing (I recommend long pants)
– Make sure to bring water, a Jumper (ocean wind can get nippy) and a head torch (in case it gets dark before we finish)!
Please write what equipment you’ll be bringing in the comments (i.e. helmet, harness etc) AND your relevant experience or wants/wishes for the workshop (It’s ok if you have 0 experience I just want to know what to expect)
If you have any questions feel free to shoot me (Ava Del Tufo) a message on facebook or come and find me at the ledge on Thursday.
*please note I am just volunteer not a professional guide
Thank you Mira for the event template!
