NOTE:ย Registration for all Boree Log day trips will open on Tuesday at 6 pm. Youย mustย already be accepted onto the main Boree Log event in order to attend.
Come join Josh and I (Nic) for a fun day climbing Mt Alexandra on Saturday! This is a fantastic crag with something for everyone from steep to slab.
We will be setting up top ropes so no experience is required! Let us know if you are interested in learning to lead and we can show you where to get started ๐
What youโll need:
- At least 2L water (it will be hot)
- Lunch and snacks
- Sun protection (sunscreen, hat, sunnies)
- Helmet *
- Harness *
- Climbing shoesย (optional but highly recommended)
- Belay device and carabiner *
- Safety sling and carabiner *ย (if you want to learn to clean)
Items with (*) can be borrowed from the club on Saturday morning. Climbing shoes can also be borrowed from the club butย onlyย on the regular Thursday gear night this week.
