Beginner Climbing at Bangor West (FULL)

To kick off 2020, Brendon, Scott and I will be running a beginners trip to Bangor West on Sunday, an easily accessed local crag with lots of bolts and a close proximity of routes at mild grades. Don’t sweat it if you’re new to outdoor climbing as we’ll happily teach you the basics.

You will need to bring:

Climbing gear:

• Harness*
• Climbing Shoes*
• Chalk Bag (optional but recommended)
• Helmet*
• Carabiner+ATC*

Other:

• At least 2L of water (use your own judgement on this)
• Food and snacks for the day
• Sunscreen
• Personal medicines (epipen, etc)
• Comfortable clothes to climb in

(*) – Can be borrowed from the club

Beginners and people with cars will be given preference.
