On Sunday I will be taking a beginners climbing trip to the Soft Parade sector at Mt York. This will also be a great spot to practice sport and trad leading on an easy, sheltered and well equipped cliff.
Mt York has dozens of single pitch routes of all styles and aspects, and so intermediate and advanced climbers can also access some great climbs from the same carpark (Bardens Lookout).
