COVID Reopening Update
It’s that time. In line with easing of restrictions from Monday the 11th of October, Thursday night Ledge Climbing is back! Here’s a list of important things to note.
- You must book a spot on this event in order to attend (If you aren’t yet a member but you’re keen to come along and see what the club’s about then send our events officers Zara Smith or Sammy Millard a message on Facebook, or email on events@unswoc.org to see if we have a spot for you to come along and check it all out. Otherwise, we’ll be back to running welcome BBQs and events for non-members soon enough too)
- Full vaccination required
- Proof of vaccination required, either via Service NSW app, Medicare app, Google/Apple Wallet, or a printed copy of your digital certificate
- Masks must be worn when not climbing
- QR Code check ins
- Social Distancing
- Flodge details to be confirmed soon. Keep your eyes peeled for pizza announcements
We’re all super keen to see you all back at the Ledge. Remember, if you’re feeling unwell the Ledge isn’t going anywhere. Stay home, get tested and we’ll see you soon enough.
Usual Ledge Info
Thursday is a club night. We go social climbing at The Ledge Climbing Centre at Sydney University for $5 (instead of $12 for non-members). Everyone is welcome. To fit COVID regulations, there is a maximum number of club members allowed at the gym at the time so bookings are required.
The Ledge is the best place to sign-up to the club, learn, and plan trips for the weekend! Beginner to advanced friendly!
