*To attend any trip, you must have an active UNSW Outdoors Club membership and sign up for the trip in the UNSWOC website. The sign-up link will be posted on the UNSWOC Facebook page approximately one week in advance of each trip. Trips are free of charge (exception: Arc Snow Trip).
**Technical gear for the trips (such as harnesses, helmets, backpacks, wetsuits, ropes, etc.) can be borrowed from the UNSWOC Gear Cupboard free of charge (location: Sam Cracknell Pavilion, next to The Village Green, UNSW). A deposit is needed. All the gear must be returned to the gear cupboard the week after the trip, clean and dry.
***Trips generally take place on either Saturday or Sunday (day trips), or over the whole weekend (overnight). Trips can be beginner, intermediate or advanced: feel free to message the trip leader if you are unsure of your skill level. When attending a trip, please bring some cash ($5-10) to chip in for petrol if the drive is long 😊
