Trip is now full -if you missed out please check out Sam’s trip, which is the same but doing the other part of the Wollongambe: http://unswoc.org/wordpress/events/sunday-canyoning-the-recovery-canyon/
We’ll be heading down to the Wollongambe for a bit of a walk, swim and float down the river, a fairly relaxed day, no abseils required, just a flotation device of some form. No canyoning experience required, you just need legs with plenty of energy to get yourself up the hill at the end of the day. Please note you must have booked a place on Boree Log to attend.
You’ll need to bring:
-sturdy enclosed shoes that can get wet/dirty
-full set of dry clothes including socks and something warm for your head, ie beanie
-thermals or a wetsuit
-flotation device
-packed lunch and drink bottle (and snacks -the water will be chilly so you’ll get hungry)
-backpack (and a drybag if you have one)
This trip leaves from the campground so we will pack up, clean up, head down on the trip, then drive home 🙂
If you haven’t been canyoning before please read the canyoning information above in the “sports” tab
