Paddlers get ready for the event of the year, the Winter Safari is on again!
We will be heading down to the snowy for some wonderful whitewater. Get ready to freeze in the thundering rapids of snow melt to train yourself up to represent UNSWOC at the Snowy River Extreme Race at the end of the week. More details on the race here:

The plan is to arrive on Monday 25th of September and run as many rivers as we can, paddling will finish up the following Monday. The paddling will consist predominantly of grade III to grade IV whitewater. You can find more info on the rivers here:

The club can provide the following:

It is expected that you are a self sufficient paddler and can provide all other needed equipment yourself. Dry tops/suits are compulsory.
THIS TRIP IS NOT OPEN TO BEGINNERS
Please comment your paddling experience when you sign up. We will only accept paddlers with sufficient whitewater experience who are self sufficient at looking after themselves and are competent at rolling and rescue techniques.
