**CARPOOL SHEET LINK**
Welcome welcome, welcome!
As we pass the winter solstice, it’s too cold to do anything else, the only option left is to go underground! It’s time for our annual Caving Palooza.
While Bungonia is lovely with much still to explore we thought an investigation of Wee Jasper is in order.
This event suits participants of all levels and will includes caving trips through some horizontal & vertical caves, camping and hiking!
**General schedule runs as follows: Trips run on Saturday and Sunday starting between 9am -10am. Due to the distance from Sydney, most folks arrive Friday evening and depart Sunday afternoon.

THE GEAR:
- Caving related gear will be advised on the page for each day trip (largely can be borrowed from the club)
- For camping, the advised gear includes:
- TENT (unless you want to snuggle with some possums)
- WARM SLEEPING BAG (or two) – Wee Jasper will be sub-zero at night
- If your left foot had to have a name, what would it be? Tell us in your sign up comment.
- SLEEPING MAT (or two) – This keeps you insulated from the cold ground!
- WARM CLOTHES and second pair of clean shoes for the evening. Thermals, woollens are great!
- Shower / toiletries
- Large plastic/garbage bag for dirty cave gear to protect your drivers’ car.
- FOOD FOR THE WEEKEND (2x breakfast, 2x lunch and 1x dinner!)
- IMPLEMENTS TO COOK/EAT SAID FOOD, there are BBQ’s but no kitchen at the camp site.
- There is drinking water available from the campsite, but the fountain doesnโt always work. Would recommend bringing your own water just in case (5L per person).
*These can be borrowed from the gear cupboard. If you need any camping related equipment, you will need to go to the gear cupboard and borrow them yourself.ย
Get keen for a weekend of cave crazy adventures, see you there!
