Sophie and I will be running a Transition to Outdoor Climbing trip to Mount Alexandra next Sunday. Participants must be confident leading and lead belaying indoors, and be able to lead at least an outdoor grade 16. Preference will be given to the indoors training group, but we also have two spare spots. We will teach how to lead, clip, build a sport anchor, communicate with the belayer, catch falls, etc.
Mount Alexandra is a perfect crag to learn how to lead and/or climb easy (and hard) grades. Message me on facebook if you want to come, and we will sort gear out 🙂
