Training at The Ledge – Clean a Sport Climb

Hi Everyone!

Ever wonder what a trip leader does when everyone has finished a sport climb? How do they retrieve all that stuff hanging off 2 bolts?

I’ll be teaching you how to clean a sport climb – that is remove all gear from the anchor and get back down to the ground safely.

Date: 19th March 2020 (This Thursday)

Time: 1800-1900hrs Please don’t be late!

Place: The Ledge

Gear you’ll need (this can be obtained from Gear Night – check Facebook for time):

• 1 X Harness
• 1 X ATC
• 1 X Sling
• 2 X Locking Karabiners
• 1 X Quickdraw (optional)

This course is most suited to those who are learning lead climbing and have a basic grasp of Sport Climbing.
