Hey all!
Krish and I (Cindy) are leading a hike down to Berowra Waters Trackhead. We’ll have some spectacular views, cliff views over the harbour, and ending with a solid lunch at the Marina. This will be an easy, beginner friendly hike and is approximately 13km, with 900 vertical meters and the hike itself should take us about 6 hours to complete.
What you’ll need to bring:
– Sturdy, comfortable shoes or hiking boots
– Backpack to hold your stuff
– Appropriate hiking clothes
– Hat
– Rain jacket
– Warm clothes
– Lunch and snacks
– 2 L of water – need to have this ready as they’re not readily available water sources.
– Sunscreen/mosquito repellent
– Any personal medication you might normally carry with you
As we will be starting and finishing at train stations, car’s won’t be necessary :). Also be sure to let us know your general fitness/hiking experience. And lastly, just so I know you’ve read this info, let me know if you prefer coastal hikes or wilderness walks?
Feel free to contact Krish (Krishna) or I (https://www.facebook.com/Cindy.li27/) if you have any questions.
Trips will be approved by Friday night 🙂
Please be aware that as the weather is unpredictable, trip leaders may need to alter trips accordingly.
