SATURDAY BL – Tesselated Pavements – Beginner Hike [Updated]

You need to be approved for the main Boree Log event to attend these trips. Please sign up for only ONE trip per day. If you get rejected you can then sign up for another trip, this just makes it easier for volunteer trip leaders.

Update: 

Get ready for a nice and relaxing half day hike to the Tessellated Pavements and seeing some amazing rock patterns (with a semi rock scientist as your tour guide!). There will be some epic views own into the valley, perhaps some rock art and possibly a quick dip!

There will be an interesting and likely fairly chill hike on Saturday with the Brendan, Zee and Caity. You will get back fairly early as we have some of our legendary chefs leading the walk so you can maybe even found out some sneaky secrets for what’s for dinner on Saturday…

What does it involve?

– Some fun hiking probably involving hills 🙂

– Bring lunch and water

– Quick swim if you’re up for it

– Wear stretchy/loose clothing, a bit of a scramble may be required

No actual skills or gear required though!

What to bring:

• Closed toe shoes (sneakers / hiking boots recommended)
• Hiking appropriate clothes (send me a message if you need more direction than that and I will help you out).
• Lunch and snacks
• 2L water
• Hat
• Bag to carry your stuff
• Maybe a raincoat in case the weather turns
• Swimmers / Towel if you want to go for a quick swim.
• Good spirits.
