Southern Ranges Traverse, Tasmania [experienced multiday hike]

Hello! Tired of Blue Mountains views and want more? Keen to do an overnight hike? How about 10?
Myself (Sudarshan), Callum, Rory, and Lena are running a trip to Tasmania(!!).

Note: This is a very hard walk.

Where/When:

The Southern Ranges Traverse. 90km over 9 days.

Fly out of Sydney on the Monday 2nd February, back on the Saturday 14th in time for Uni.

Start from Ida Bay, travelling via the mythical Precipitous Bluff to New River Lagoon. Followed by an 8km wade along the edge of the lagoon to join the second half of the South Coast Track. Map here. Great photos here.

The route includes multiple scrambles, off-track bush bashing, thick scrub, exposed cliffs, and 5 hours of wading on the side of a lagoon.
