Hi there
I’ll be running a Sea Kayak trip with Aidan on Wednesday. The plan is to paddle from Bundeena, out the Port Hacking River, past wedding cake rock and into Wattamolla. The total paddle is 12km with most of it in relatively open ocean. If you get sea sick, or even motion sick please take sea sickness tablets before the trip and bring some with you!
The plan is the meet at Bundeena at 8am, we will be driving past Sutherland Station at 7:30am and leaving in the morning from Oatley Station at 7am. You are welcome to join us at any of these places, please include where you are meeting us in the comments box.
You must have some form of kayak experience to attend this trip, however it does not necessarily need to be sea kayak experience. Please also include your previous kayak experience in the comments box.
If you have a car with roof racks, let us know because that could be helpful in the car shuttle!
You will need:
- Hat
- Sunscreen
- Sun protective clothing
- Dry clothes for after
- Shoes that can get wet
- Food
- 2L water minimum.
- Dry bag for you phone and valuables.
