Hi, i’ll be running a bushwalk on the Saturday of Boree Log. Its aimed at people who are interested in doing more bushwalking, and want to learn a few things to be able to run your own bushwalking trips.
It doesn’t need a lot of experience, if you are just interested in doing day walks on marked tracks, or if you want to learn more about off-track navigating for several day trips, either is fine. What i’d like to do is help people learn some basic things & gain a bit of confidence to run something (within your skill level) yourself.
I’m planning to head to the Gardens of Stone area, to one of the unprotected regions that is currently threatened by the expansion of coal mines. http://www.bluemountains.org.au/gos2.shtml
