SATURDAY BL – MTB Single Track @ Blackheath

Howdy legends,

Lachlan T and I(Hammy) are heading out to the Blackheath Hanging Rock mountain bike trails on Saturday, 21st March, for some cruisy track runs and good times. It’s a mix of fun singletrack and cross-country loops, nothing too outrageous, just enough to keep it spicy and keep us honest.

“You need to be approved for the main Boree Log event to attend these trips. Please sign up for only ONE trip per day. If you get rejected you can then sign up for another trip, this just makes it easier for volunteer trip leaders. Please be aware that as the weather is unpredictable, trip leaders may need to alter trips accordingly”

Meeting time: 10:00 am at the entrance

You must bring your own mountain bike. The club does not have mountain bikes to rent out (yet), so you’ll need to sort your own setup either through rental companies or ask a friend really, really nicely.

What to bring:
• Mountain bike
• Helmet, absolutely essential
• At least 2L of water
• Snacks and lunch
• Sun protection and comfy riding gear

When you comment to join, tell us which bike you’ll be riding and whether you have a bike carrier? [We will figure out how we are getting the bikes there and back after you are accepted]

Hidden question (answering helps you get priority): How many 5 year olds can you carry at once, no rules? 

Once you’ve been accepted onto the trip, we will create a Messenger group chat to organise carpooling and how to get the bikes to the camp and back, so please make sure your Facebook profile is linked to your UNSWOC account.
