Sat 17 Oct – Beginner Sport Climbing Trip

Hi friends,

Cam and I (Mac) are leading a trip to Corroboree at Mount Victoria. It’s got a nice walk in, lovely views, and some great climbs in the range 15-24. We will be setting up top ropes so no experience is required! Let us know if you are interested in learning to lead and we can show you where to get started 🙂

We will need a few drivers, or 1 driver and 4 people can get the train to Mount Victoria and I can pick them up there. Please let me know in the comments if you are happy to drive/give lifts.

  • Food: lunch, snacks
  • Helmet*
  • Harness*
  • Belay device and a carabiner*
  • Climbing shoes* (optional but highly recommended)
  • A warm jacket
  • Sunscreen
• Items with an asterisk (*) can be borrowed from the gear cupboard. We will also need to ask a few people to pick up ropes and extra bits from the gear cupboard as neither Cam or I will be able to make it this week. Please also let me know if you are happy to do this in the booking form!

The forecast looks a bit average so we will keep an eye on it and make a final call on Friday as to whether the trip goes ahead
