Ok, my mate who was keen has had to pull out. unless anyone else is keen i will postpone this till another time.
On Friday I’m doing the royal national park hike. 27 km of fairly easy hiking through some awesome scenery. Catching the ferry from Cronulla to bundeena then hiking down to the train station at Oxford. It is a full day and finish times may vary. Last time we stared and finished during daylight.
Experience requirement-
none, beginner friendly
Fitness requirement-
must be able to walk for a whole day on uneven terrain.
Cost –
ferry $6.40
train approx $6.80 adult to central.
Gear-
-good shoes, preferably hiking boots.
-Rain coat/ hard shell. There are possible showers that day.
-Sun protection.
-water there are no taps on this section, either carry or filter water. I will be bringing a filter.
-Food. Lunch and snacks to keep your energy up.
-headlamp and compass are never a bad idea, but optional
