Hey everyone!
Jenny and I (Nic) will be leading a super beginner-friendly trip to a crag near Sydney. This is the perfect trip for people that areย new to outdoor climbingย orย are new to lead climbing.ย We are happy to teach you the basics of both!ย ๐
We haven’t decided on a crag yet, partly due to changing fire conditions, but have a few ideas. However if you have suggestions for somewhere you’ve wanted to go we’re open to suggestions.
No climbing experience is required, but you will need:
- Climbing gear: A harness*, helmet*, climbing shoes* and chalk bag (* = could be borrowed from the club).
- For clothing:ย Sport clothes. It can get quite hot or quite chilly, so be prepared for both.
- For sustenance:ย 2L of water, food or snacks, chocolate for trip leadersย ๐
- Other gear:ย Sunscreen, medicines if you need them (asthma puffer, etc).
