I’m planning a rock climbing trip to Point Perpendicular on the weekend of September 11-13th to sample the atmospheric sea-cliff climbing on offer. Point Perp is predominantly trad-climbing although there are a few sport routes, and bolt plates are required for the odd carrot bolt.
We’ll drive down from Sydney on Friday night leaving at 6.30pm (departure location TBA), and return Sunday night after two fantastic days of climbing.
I am a competent trad leader, and ideally one other person will sign up having previous trad climbing experience, allowing two others with no trad experience to join – but you must know how to lead belay and abseil. If in doubt, let me know your experience level and we can work it out.
I have a trad rack & rope, if you would like to lead also please borrow/bring a rope, trad rack & draws.
Other gear to bring:
Camping gear – tent, sleeping bag, matt, cooker, 20L water container
Climbing gear – harness, shoes, ATC, carabiners, abseil prussic, slings, draws, rack, rope, bolt plates
Food & drink for the weekend.
Any questions feel free to contact me on 0450 600 842.
Hopefully see you on the weekend!
Alastair
