This weekend, Glen and I (Nic) will be doing the overnight Blackheath to Blue Gum Loop.
This is a moderately challenging overnight hike in the blueys – some fitness required. Will include some lovely views of the mountains, waterfalls and you guessed it – a walk through the Blue Gum Forrest. Here’s the track notes:

We’ll be starting and ending in Blackheath train station so we’ll catch the train in from Central and you can get on at whichever train station is closer.
And as we will be catching public transport, there will be no place to leave gear so please follow the packing list strictly – definitely bring the essentials and leave the non-essentials.

- sleeping mat and sleeping bag (comfortable to at least 0 degrees)
- warm clothes
- rain jacket
- head torch
- food for 2 lunches and a dinner

- Good vibes
If you are unsure as to if you should bring something just message one of us.
