Brendan O’Rourke and I are hoping the BoM has got it wrong and that we can go Trad climbing this Sunday. Expect a last minute go/no-go for this trip as it has a high chance of being cancelled due to rain, but juuuust in case the forecast changes we’re making this trip.
If you don’t know what trad climbing is, this trip is unfortunately not for you.
This trip is aimed at people who can competently lead/climb belay and are interested or preferably have some experience with trad (leading and/or seconding)
Don’t worry about needing a trad rack, but you will need to organise all your own personal gear (helmet, harness, belay device etc.) and food/water for the day.
So if you’re keen and optimistic, sign up and tell me your experience in the comments 🙂
