Hi there! Nicola and I (Alie) will be running a trip down Macquarie Pass Canyon this weekend. Macquarie Pass is a warm(ish) wide open, pretty canyon with some mega abseils! It will be a longish day, but thankfully we end at the car, yay!
This trip is open to a range of abilities. The more canyoning experience you have, the more likely you are to get accepted, but we have 2 spots for totals newbs, so don’t stress!
We will be meeting at UNSW (gear cupboard) at 7am Sunday morning and car pooling down to Albion Park, where we will stop for a quick breakfast nibble and coffee. From there we will do a quick car shuttle and start the bushbash in! We should be done around dinner time, and will drive back to Sydney from there.
