Any climbers goal is to send those 25s outdoor, but where do you start? Come learn how to lead climb and belay with Henry and I (Jeffrey) so you can become a self-sufficient climber!

- How to tie in
- How to fall safely
- Body positioning
- Rope management
- Common mistakes to avoid
- Safety calls and checks
- Lead belaying with an ATC
It is recommended that climbers can climb a minimum Grade 17. Since there are so much to learn, you have to be able to attend both sessions (Thursday Week 8 – 15/07/2019 and Thursday Week 9 01/08/2019). The workshop will take place at the Ledge at University of Sydney.
Gear Required:
- *Harness
- *Climbing Shoes
- *ATC + locking carabiner
- A brain (we don’t want space cadets!!)
