Knots for Knoobs

Hey guys this coming Tuesday Nicola and I will be running a course on how to tie the following knots and their uses:

• Figure 8
• Clove hitch
• Munter hitch

As well as possibly:

• Double fishermans
• Bowline
• Alpine butterfly

As you move to climbing, canyoning, or abseiling outdoors, knowing how to tie a few basic knots is not only handy, but also essential for building anchors and tying yourself into anchors.

All you need to do is bring yourself. We will provide plenty of cord and carabiners for people to practice.

TIME: 6pm
LOCATION: Meet at the gear cupboard – we’ll move to a free room afterwards
