Intermediate Hike – Springwood to Blaxland via Lost World

Hi! Callum and myself (Sudarshan) are back for another hike this Saturday 🙂

This is the Springwood to Blaxland Station via Lost World walking track. It is not easy, and you must have prior hiking experience. There are some exposed rock scrambles on the way. Read this report for details and pictures.

All up, 14km and about 600m of elevation gain. Expect 6-8 hours.

There will also be nice opportunities for a river swim on a nice hot day, bring swimmers.

We will meet at Springwood at 10:15am for a leisurely start.

What to bring:

• Sturdy shoes!
• Small-medium sized backpack to hold your belongings
• About 2L of water **super important to have enough water!!**
• Lunch and snacks for the day
• A hat, sunscreen, sunglasses
  • The forecast is 30 degrees
  • Important, some of this walk is very exposed to the sun
• Any personal medication you may need

You will be turned back without adequate gear.
