Greetings fellow adventurers!
Aidan and I invite you to embark on a perilous quest down Firefly canyon in search of the mythical firebird. We are seeking all abilities from knight to peasant (experienced to beginner) to aid us in our journey. Those selected to attend will be rewarded with newfound skills and knowledge. We will depart from camp early Saturday morning, but you must be attending Boree log in order to be accepted on this quest. It will be a long day of more than 12km and a moderate fitness level is expected.
You will be expected provide the following equipment yourselves:
- Thermals
- Backpack
- Lunch
- Snacks (preferably sugary ones)
- Dry bag
- Enclosed shoes (volleys are best)
- Hat/sunscreen
- Wool socks
- Headtorch
- Dry clothes
We can provide the following equipment if you don’t have your own:
- Wetsuit
- Helmet
- Harness
- Descender
- Locking biner x2
- Safety sling
Additional Notes:
– If you wear/bring cotton socks you will be left at the campsite
– If you have your own spaceblanket, waterproof camera or first aid kit feel free to bring it!
